Research Cooperations

Digitalization of assembly and logistics is playing a major role for more and more factories.

Always a step ahead!

With our ipolog software, we are in a field that has a promising future, but is also in need of development. Many good concepts are still in the theoretical phase and require validation in practice. It is important to us that a great idea can become reality. Are you looking for partners to bring your idea from paper to life? Then send us a message!

Existing Partnerships

ipolog is part of the research project AIMFREE. Project manager Amon Göppert, machine tool laboratory WZL of the RWTH Aachen, hopes that “the free-linked assembly is the solution for many companies to be able to keep individualized products in our high-wage locations despite cost pressure”.

Within the “VRoom”, ipolog works with the Institut für Fördertechnik und Logistik at the University of Stuttgart. In the field of planning, simulation and visualization, the IFT has a large experimental area for virtual reality (VRoom) on which research, teaching and industrial activities can be carried out. This special simulation room was implemented together with the industrial partners tarakos, Lightshape and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.

ipolog as a partner of TU DortmundWe are pleased to be able to support the Graduate College of the TU Dortmund as an industrial partner in word and deed! In addition to valuable discussions and knowledgable contributions from the PhD students, we benefit from the manifold contacts of Fraunhofer IML. Vice versa, we can contribute to science and teaching with our ipolog software.

Intralogistics (planning and optimization)

Intralogistics or internal logistics covers the flow of materials, information and goods within a factory. External logistics, which relates to the transportation of goods outside a company, must be distinguished from this. Intralogistics encompasses all processes and areas within the factory.
